The game features a remade map, all available TMs and berries, and various weather, music, and minor adjustments. You can encounter and battle Pokémon walking in the world, but be cautious—defeating them can crash the game. Mewtwo may also appear if you run from a battle.
Explore grass without encountering wild Pokémon immediately, but you will need to catch one to progress. All Pokémon up to Generation 3 are obtainable, and each walkthrough is unique thanks to stealth pirate mentors who provide helpful gifts.
