Pokémon Wubish White is a unique twist on Pokémon White, designed for players who love a challenge—but not in the usual way. Inspired by Garbage Green and Emerald Trashlocke, this ROM hack doesn’t make battles harder by buffing trainers. Instead, it makes your team significantly worse, forcing you to battle through Unova with some of the weakest Pokémon across Generations 1 to 5.
What’s Different?
- New Starters – Instead of Snivy, Tepig, or Oshawott, you’ll begin with Pansage, Pansear, or Panpour.
- Bottom-Tier Encounters – Every route has been overhauled to give you Pokémon that rarely get a chance to shine.
- Evolutions Delayed or Removed – To increase variety, many evolutions now take longer or don’t happen at all.
- PP Nerfs – Most moves now have less PP, making every decision in battle more important.
- Universal HM Compatibility – All available Pokémon can learn every HM, ensuring you’ll never get stuck.
- New Encounter Splits – Pinwheel Forest and Dragonspiral Tower are now separate encounter areas.
- Three New Gift Pokémon – You’ll receive special Pokémon in Castelia City, Accumula Town, and Striaton City.
- Dreamyard Gift Removed – No free Pokémon there anymore!
- Helpful NPC Added – A new character in Cheren’s room provides Rare Candies and other useful items.
While the main story remains unchanged, the game is built for a Nuzlocke challenge. However, you can play however you like! It would be incredible to see players take on the Elite Four or Ghetsis with Pokémon that would normally be considered unusable.
